What are Disc Skimmers?

The Disc Skimmer is an alternative to a Mop Skimmer. This type of oil skimmer is designed to recover oil from the surface of the water using continuously rotating discs for the oil to adhere to and an integral pump to move the recovered material to a temporary storage facility.
