OPEC has investigated the use of a number of techniques to ensure the best available technologies are utilized to separate the resultant waste from crude oil tank cleaning operations.

Separator systems are used to convert the recovered material into various products for safe disposal and for recycling. The aim of the separator system is reduce the material to WATER, OIL and SOLIDS.

Use of hydrocyclones, vitrification, centrifuges, filtration and other have all been considered as possibilities for successful operations depending on its use. Please contact us for more information.
