Solvent Cleaning
Electrical cleaning solvents require high dielectric strength and film free drying. Solvents HDL and Lemsolv meet these requirements. HDL is compatible with all materials and is a quick drying solvent. It is designed for cleaning amature windings. Lemsolv is primarily used for exterior motor body cleaning. Lemsolv has a faster ability to remove heavy oils and grease and dries slower than HDL. Both products are available in Wipe format

Water based cleaning
Sobo LF is an inhibited Low Foaming, Quick Break cleaning chemical that dries residue free. Components should be rinsed after cleaning and forced air dried before final QC approval Increasingly, electric motors are being pressure cleaned using specially designed water based cleaning chemicals. Sobo LF, an aerospace approved cleaning chemical is designed to be used at a 2-8% dilution in hot water power wash spray systems

Lemsolv - Solvent Based Electrical Cleaner
Removes heavy oil and grease contamination yet contains no components requiring an Occupational Exposure Standard (OES).

Availability: 5 Litre Container or Wipes

HDL - Solvent Based Electrical Cleaner
Can be used safely as either an Electrical or Precision component cleaner. Safe to use on plastics. lacquers and armature windings.

  • Rolls Royce CSS253 Approved
  • Meets UK Def Std 68-148 cleaning standard

Sobo LF - Aqueous based electric motor cleaner
An aqueous low foaming cleaning solution with excellent corrosion protection. Suitable for pressure cleaning of electric motors prior to forced air drying.

  • Approved to Aerospace Corrosion Standard AMS1526B
  • Low foaming characteristics
