Recent changes in legislation require Industrial cleaning chemicals to be both safe to
use and safe for the environment.
The Sobo and Lemsolv range of Industrial Cleaning products are VOC free, KYOTO friendly
and registered in Germany as being environmentally acceptable.
They are also Separator Friendly. In Europe under standard EN 858, Industrial Separators
are being defined as either class 1 with a discharge of 5mg/L of oil and class 2 with a
discharge of 100mg/L of oil.
To achieve these new standards, it is important that upstream cleaning chemicals do not
form an emulsion as defined in EN 858. All of our Industrial cleaning chemicals are
separator friendly and meet the requirements of EN 858.
Finally, with current limits increasingly becoming 'tighter', it is important that
Industrial Cleaning Chemicals have the minimum possible impact on the aqueous environment.

COD is the amount of oxygen required for the chemical oxidation of compounds in water.
BOD is the amount of oxygen required for the biodegradation of compounds by micro organisms
under anaerobic or oxygenated conditions.
